Jade graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelors of Kinesiology and extended minor in Psychology in June 2018. Aside from her education, Jade has volunteered for the Alzheimers Society of British Columbia for over three years in the Minds in Motion programs, works with individuals with disabilities in the community, and has also taught physical literacy and health for two terms at a school for children and young adults with varying disabilities in Antigua, located in the West Indies.

Through these experiences, Jade has learned that social connection and human movement is universal and believes that adaptations and modifications are important and necessary in order for movement to be an accessible goal for any individual.

In her spare time, Jade enjoys going on hikes and walks, especially around her home in Agassiz. Jade also enjoys playing recreational softball and any sport she can get her hands on.
