Together In Motion is part of a multi-year initiative to increase social inclusion and wellbeing for unpaid caregivers aged 55+ in Abbotsford.

In Abbotsford, one in four adults provide unpaid care to a loved one—and many caregivers are 55 or older themselves. Caregiving is physically and emotionally demanding, yet caregivers often put their own health last. Together In Motion gives you permission to pause, move, connect, and care for yourself.

Movement Coaching

  • Movement practices tailored to your space and needs

  • Safe body mechanics for caregiving tasks (lifting, transferring, bending)

  • Balance and strength exercises to prevent falls

  • Simple recommendations to make movement safer at home

Movement Experts Who Understand Caregiving

Together In Motion classes are led by movement professionals who understand how the body moves and how to prevent injury before it happens.

Our movement professionals have worked with caregivers before. They understand that "just resting" isn't an option when someone depends on you for daily care. That's why they'll work with you to give your body the support it needs to sustain the physical work of caregiving without breaking down.
